Why Silver Needle is Such a Special Tea

We don't know who discovered this was the way to do it, but whoever it was certainly came up with something. It is mellow and delicate, a sophisticated flavour that words struggle to convey. It has been compared with white peony tea and a popular description of the aroma is "freshly cut hay".

Just How "Delicate" Is Silver Needle Tea

The plant itself has to be very carefully cultivated and harvested - and it doesn't end there. You can't just put this into a teapot and slam in some boiling water. The water needs to be a little below boiling and it must be left to brew for around five minutes. These things are important to know because if you have a tea shop or are an oolong tea retailer, you want your customers to enjoy your products. To ensure that, they need a few words of advice.
