In the deep forests of Yunnan, tea bushes are left to grow tall and wild, untouched by pollution, chemicals, or pesticides. A team of expert climbers harvests the leaves from the tops of the trees, ensuring the highest quality. About The Tea
Origin: Snowy Mountains of Lincang, Yunnan province, China.
Varietal: Camellia sinensis var. Sinensis.
Style: The fresh leaves are from the wild Dali cultivar, a Yunnan original species, harvested using a technique that selects one old tree leaf and one bud. This tea is only harvested once a year, in early spring.
Taste Profile: Strong wild forest aroma with a complex taste profile. Features prominent mineral, sweet, slightly citrus and nutty notes. Fresh and unique.
Caffeine: Medium-high.
Elevation: 2300-2500 meters above sea level. Subtropical monsoon climate.
Brewing: Brew at around 70-75°c for around 1-3 minutes. Can be steeped multiple times to maximise its value.
