Burdock Root

Native to Asia and Europe, Burdock Root is, quite simply, a vegetable - but lovers of this exquisite tisane know that it’s much more than that. Harvested during the Fall when the large leaves are grayish underneath and green on top, Burdock has been cherished for centuries for its holistic medicinal action - which may aid better digestion and act as a diuretic. Today, Burdock Root is ground into a delicious herbal tea which may detoxify the body and balance the hormones - adored for its sweet yet pungent and “wild” taste.

Ingredients: Burdock Root.

Aroma: Earthy sweet aroma

Serving suggestion: Add 1 teaspoon into a cup (250ml) with hot water (100°C) and brew for 1-20 minutes depending on personal preferences. Strain and try.

Storage: Store below 18°C in a dry place, out of light.
