Blue Cornflower (Premium Grade)

A symbol of Estonia with anti-inflammatory benefits

For centuries, perhaps millennia, the Blue Cornflower has been a flower of choice for health and happiness. This astringent herb is a cherished ancient source of anti-inflammatory and antiseptic action, and it may ease fever, suppress appetite and even fight dandruff. This national flower of Estonia symbolises "daily bread" for the nation and dried out it’s used in herbal teas for a burst of colour and/or to naturally ease congestion and constipation. Blue Cornflower is famously sweet-yet-spicy with clove-like undertones. Can be served hot or cold and adds a great pop of colour to tea blends.

Ingredients: Blue Cornflowers.

Aroma: Subtle sweet aroma

Serving suggestion: Add 1 teaspoon into a cup (250ml) with hot water (100°C) and brew for 5-10 minutes. Strain and try.  Serve hot or add to tea blends for a pop of colour.

Packaging: Our Blue Cornflower is delivered in sealed, air-tight pouches. 

Storage: Store below 18°C in a dry place, out of light.
