Turmeric is said to originate in India, consumed for centuries to unlock the endless culinary and medicinal benefits. Today, Turmeric is harvested once the leaves and stem dry out and turn brown. Once the roots are collected, they’re dried and cut into delicious chips that only needs boiling water to release the curcumin’s powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidizing effects. Many describe Turmeric tea as having an “earthy” taste. Add a little ginger and cardamom to really make the bold flavour profiles pop.

Aroma: Warm, Earthy Aroma with Subtle Hints of Pepper and a Slight Woodiness

Serving suggestion: Add 1-2 teaspoon into a cup (250ml) with hot water (95-100°C) and brew for 5-10 minutes. Strain and try.
