Organic Black Ceylon Tea (BOP)

Plucked from the high quality tea plantations of Sri Lanka, this single origin Organic Ceylon BOP is packed with a fresh and full-bodied flavour. The name "Ceylon" originates from the British who colonised the island (now known as Sri Lanka) in 1802 during the years of the French Revolution. Enough history lets get back to the tea!

BOP stands for Broken Orange Pekoe which is a grading for black teas. Broken Orange Pekoe is smaller in leaf size compared to say an FBOP (Flowery Orange Pekoe) or OP1 (Orange Pekoe). BOP grades tend to pack a more flavourful liquor, which is perfect for someone who is used to drinking strong Irish or English Breakfast Teas.

Ingredients: Certified Organic Ceylon Black Tea BOP.

Serving Suggestions: Add 1-2 tablespoons per Cup/250ml and brew in 90-95°C water for 1 minute. Add brown sugar, honey or milk to taste.
