About The Tea

Origin:  Jasbire Tea Village in Maipokhari, Ilam, Nepal.

Varietal: Camellia sinensis var. Sinensis

Style: Aama Tea is created by their prized tea farmer, Sharad  Subba. It is a tribute to his mother’s tea recipe. Unlike most tea makers, he embraces mature leaves, symbolizing his mother's  silent sacrifices. The most special element of Aama Tea is the hand-beaten tea leaf, which translates his mother's traditional method. This brews a unique oolong bursting with different layers of    flavor.

Taste Profile:  musky and fruity citrusy flavors

 

Caffeine: Medium

Brewing: Brew at around 80-85°c for around 1 minute. Can be steeped multiple times to maximise its value.
