A perfect balance of jasmine flowers with green tea leaves.
Pairing jasmine flowers with green tea leaves is a classic combination. Jasmine comes from the jasminum officinale plant, which tends to grow in misty alpine climates, just like Chinese green tea. The flavours match beautifully, too. You get the underlying sweet grass and earthy tones of green tea, then a big whiff of dewy jasmine florals. It’s a more perfumed cup than your standard Sencha or Oolong. This particular batch is our popular spring harvest. We pluck the leaves in late spring, when they’re packed with moisture, then toast with fresh-picked jasmine flowers. The end result is delicate, subtle and wonderfully refreshing.

Aroma: Aromatic jasmine
Serving suggestion: Add 1 teaspoon and brew in 80ºC water for 1-2 minutes. Steep longer for a more pungent aroma.
