One legend has it that the plant is the physical manifestation of Lakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth, companion to the Hindu God, Vishnu. Whether you’re a believer or not, one thing’s for sure - Tulsi Tea features a notably strong aroma that many describe as bitter. Depending on its location, it can sometimes offer minty, peppery or floral notes too. People have been sipping on the stuff for centuries to relieve arthritis, ease stress, and lower blood pressure. Today, the plants are gently harvested around 40 days after germination, cut and dried into a fine tea that can be enjoyed morning and night.

Ingredients: Certified Organic Rama Tulsi.

Aroma: Slightly sweet and herbal.

Serving suggestion: Add 1-2 teaspoon into a cup (250ml) with hot water (95-100°C) and brew for 2-3 minutes. Strain and try.
