If you’re interested in mixing your own Chai blends, or simply adding a little Sri Lankan spice to your morning cuppa, you’ll need Organic Cinnamon Chips. Wild cinnamon comes from the inner bark of the Cinnamomum Verum tree (be wary of so-called cinnamon substitutes). It’s one of the strongest and most distinctive aromats in the world: somehow woody, sweet and spicy all at the same time, with subtle notes of honey and resin. Cinnamon’s active ingredient, cinnamaldehyde, can help stimulate weight loss, regulate blood sugar, lower cholesterol and boost the immune system. It’s also chock full of antioxidants. Our tip? Add a little ginger to really kick start your morning.
Origin: Sri Lanka.
Ingredients: Certified Organic Cinnamon Chips (Verum / Zeylanicum).
Serving Suggestion: Add 1-2 teaspoons and brew in 90-95ºC water for 8-10 minutes. Add your favourite black tea and steep for another 2-3 minutes. Sweeten with a little honey.

Storage: Store below 18ºC in a dry place, out of light.
