Sage

A wellness herb from the old times

Sage (also known as Salvia officinalis) is one of the very old classics of herbal medicine. It has been used through history, from being brewed as a tonic for menopause to a poultice for snake bites! Nowadays, herbalists still recommend a good cup of sage tea for a variety of medicinal purposes, including helping with coughs or a sore throat during sickness, relaxing the mind, balancing hormones, reducing pain during women's periods, reducing symptoms during menopause, or even improving memory! Sage makes a very strong tea in aroma and flavour, so we recommend mixing it with another herb or flower to enjoy it better. Give it a try with lavender flowers!

Ingredients:  Sage Leaf.

Aroma: Strong herbal and earthy aroma

Serving suggestion: Add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon into a cup (250ml) with hot water (90-95°C) and brew for 2-3 minutes.

Storage: Store below 18°C in a dry place, out of light.
