Calming and medicinal tea
Introducing our Cinnamon Myrtle Tea, crafted from the aromatic leaves in the lush rainforests of subtropical Australia, spanning from Bega on the NSW south coast to Fraser Island off Queensland. This small tree, reaching up to 7 meters, graces the canopy with leaves that boast a delightful spicy cinnamon-like aroma and flavour, making it a versatile spice for various dishes.
Discover the essence of the Australian rainforests as you infuse your culinary creations with the rich, spicy notes of Cinnamon Myrtle. From savory recipes, desserts, and confectionery to herbal teas, this ingredient enriches your culinary experience.
Not just a culinary delight, Cinnamon Myrtle also offers a calming and medicinal tea, known for its benefits in alleviating dyspepsia, heartburn, colic, and supporting digestive health. Harvested sustainably by a dedicated harvester, our Cinnamon Myrtle undergoes a natural drying process using sunlight, avoiding the use of heaters and electric machines. The leaves are carefully arranged in large trays and naturally dried in shade sheds during the spring and summer seasons, getting ready for you to take home and enjoy their natural delights.
